Barn Acre Gallery is taking some time off this coming year and we will not be holding a two week summer show or Christmas exhibition at Barn Acre Gallery in 2010. We will miss you all terribly but decided it is a good time to take a break and have a holiday.. plus allow for some proper painting time over the coming months! Do keep an eye on our website for exhibitions of Kirsten's work at different venues across the country, and do feel free to give us a ring if you would like to pop to the gallery to see a full selection of paintings and prints by Kirsten Jones, you are very welcome. List of Exhibitions 2010 11-14 March 'The Affordable Art Fair' (Battersea Park, London) New paintings by Kirsten Jones will be exhibited on the Rostra and Rooksmoor Stand http://www.affordableartfair.com/ 11-13 April 'British Craft Trade Fair' (The Great Yorkshire Show Ground, Harrogate) Just for the trade I'm afraid, but galleries who would like to stock Kirsten's work are welcome to attend this friendly and well attended trade fair. We are on stand 134..just on the right as you go in! We are stand 4..just on the left as you go in! We'll be taking a taste of Barn Acre Gallery to Reading Rivermead... with a selection of all our 'best bits' Come along to browse the original artworks and well stocked print racks plus jewellers and makers and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a glass of wine! 30th April-3rd May 'Maynard School' Exeter A selected show selling works by established artists in aid of art bursaries at the school 1st - 23rd May 'Butterfly House' (part of Open House, Brighton) Selected artists on this wonderful walk around Brighton.. great excuse for a weekend away! 13th - 17th May 'Fine Art at Querns' Goring Heath, Oxon tel 0149 -168 0400 Lovely Rachel is opening her wonderful barn and exhibiting pieces by selected artists. The show will include paintings, prints and jewellery 14th-16th May 'Battersea Contemporary Art Fair' Lavender Hill, London Absolutely the best art fair to buy original art works and prints direct from artists! I will be there (on stand G59) with new works and prints both framed and mounted. Kirsten will be at the URC hall on Saturday 29th and her work will be exhibited there all weekend. There will be a little taste of Barn Acre Gallery at the Wycliffe Hall.. with prints by kirsten plus jewellers and ceramics by sophie smith.. and of course Alison will be running the cafe! 11 June -11July 'Obsidian Art' (exhibition as part of Bucks' Artweeks) New paintings by Kirsten Jones plus framed and unframed prints will be on display during Bucks Artweeks. 6th Aug to 10th Oct 'Domestic Bliss' at 'Ferrers Gallery' Ashby De La Zouche Kirsten's work seen as part of this fabulous group show, and the most stunning gallery.. well worth a day trip!! |
